Job Summary:
We are seeking a vibrant and energetic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate. This role primarily involves providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness and sanitization standards, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for children and families in our play area facility. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a passion for delivering top-notch service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service Excellence:
   – Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries or concerns.
   – Provide information about our services and offerings in a friendly and helpful manner.
   – Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

2. Cleaning and Sanitization:
   – Ensure cleanliness and sanitization of the entire play area according to established protocols.
   – Regularly clean and sanitize play equipment, surfaces, and high-touch areas.
   – Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles used.

3. Multi-tasking and Efficiency:
   – Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
   – Work efficiently to meet cleaning and setup deadlines, especially during peak times.

4. Interacting with Customers and Children:
   – Engage with children and families in a positive and friendly manner.
   – Supervise children to ensure their safety and adherence to play area rules.

5. Party Area Setup and Maintenance:
   – Clean and set up party areas before and after events.
   – Assist with organizing and coordinating birthday parties and other events as needed.

6. Handling Cleaning Products and Materials:
   – Safely handle and use cleaning products and equipment according to guidelines.
   – Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management of any shortages.

Qualifications:

– Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
– Energetic and enthusiastic personality, particularly when interacting with children.
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
– Reliable and responsible with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
– Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
– Must be comfortable handling cash transactions and basic math skills are required.

Working Conditions:

– This role involves standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
– Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by the business.
– Exposure to cleaning chemicals and occasional loud noise levels.
– Must adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear as necessary.
